Yes, you can rent out your furnished apartment in Palma for a few months at a time: on MUVAWAY, each booking runs from 32 nights to 12 months. You set the price, the free dates and the conditions, and you confirm every tenant yourself. Listing is free; the platform fee only applies once rent is paid.
Who is this a good fit for?
Owners whose apartment is already furnished, who have clear months available and want to let it for a set period. Maybe you live there part of the year or would rather not leave it empty for months. Once the tenant moves out, it is yours again or ready for the next booking.
Who lives in Palma for a few months?
People who come to live and work here for a while. A team on a project in the city. A family spending a school year in Palma. A couple relocating who want to find a permanent home without rushing. Someone whose own place is being renovated, or a designer working remotely from your balcony. They all need a ready-to-live-in home for a set period.
How does it work, step by step?
- List: create and confirm your account, fill in the listing over six pages (property, details, rules, photos, price, review) and submit it. The team checks photos and details and publishes it.
- Get ready: confirm the conditions, add your tax details and set up your payout account with Stripe right on MUVAWAY. Stripe confirms it once with a code.
- The tenant books with dates, number of people, any pet and an introduction in their own words. They check their ID with Stripe.
- You confirm within 48 hours or decline.
- Month 1 is paid when you confirm. If move-in is more than 80 days away, it is paid 80 days before move-in.
- Move-in from 15:00. Contact details are shared once month 1 is paid and the free cancellation period has ended; before that, you talk in the chat on MUVAWAY.
What do you decide?
The price, free dates, minimum and maximum stay, and your house rules. You set the deposit yourself, at most two months' rent in total. The tenant pays it to you directly at the key handover. Utilities can work three ways: included, a fixed flat rate, or a flat rate settled later against meter photos. Optionally, you offer a discount from 3 or 6 months.
How much of the rent do you keep?
The platform fee is 8% + 21% VAT, which comes to 9.68% of each month's rent paid. Stripe deducts it with every payment, and MUVAWAY covers the Stripe costs. For example: with a monthly rent of €1,800, you receive €1,625.76.
You receive month 1 at the earliest 48 hours after the agreed move-in, as long as nothing is open about a defect, a missed move-in or the deposit. From month 2, the rent is charged to the tenant's card 10 days before each rental month begins and paid out to you at the start of the month.
