Santa Maria del Camí lies in the centre of the island, just 15 minutes from Palma and on the railway line to Inca. Its Sunday market is among the most popular in Mallorca, and with several wineries the town forms part of the Binissalem denomination of origin. Proximity to the capital combined with village life makes Santa Maria one of the most sought-after addresses in the centre. For a seasonal rental you get more floor space here than in Palma without giving up a short journey into town.
Daily life and getting around
Santa Maria has supermarkets, doctors, schools and, in the Sunday market, one of the most popular on the island. The centre is small and entirely walkable.
Palma is 15 minutes by car on the Ma-13 or around 20 by train — the shortest connection of any municipality in the centre of the island.
